SalesPoint Cloud - FluidPay SalesPoint Processor and SalesPoint User

This article will have instructions on how to setup SalesPoint Processor on FluidPay, as well as setting up a SalesPoint User. This is needed in order to setup SalesPoint.

To meet the system requirements, you will need the following:

- Postman login

- Cloud Sales Point Collection

- Subscriber should be set up with two FluidPay Gateways. To do this, you will need the FluidPay Portal credentials from the subscriber. Please note that the credentials should not be an email for the user.

- Subscriber Tenant Admin credentials

- It is recommended to use an Incognito Window for the setup process.

Subscribers Tenant:

There are a couple of things that we will need to be done in the subscribers tenant before setting up SalesPoint.

  • Setup and enter FluidPay Gateway for SalesPoint
  • One Time Services for Delievies needs to be flagged for SalesPoint

Step 1:

Getting the FluidPay SalesPoing Gateway setup. To do this reach out to Zach Turner at Tiger Payment Processing via email to request the second Processor.

To request the setup of the second FluidPay Processor for SalesPoint, please contact Zach Turner at Tiger Payment Processing. You can reach him via email at zach@tigerprocessing.com or by phone at 781-715-3232.

Once you receive notification that the second Processor has been setup we then need to set up a SalesPoint User in the subscribers FluidPay Portal. The SalesPoint User is the credentials we will need to use for the SalesPoint FluidPay. Ask the subscriber if they would like to do this and send the credentials OR we can do this for them if they provide us with their credentials to access FluidPay.

Step 2:

To access the FluidPay Portal: https://app.fluidpay.com/auth

Enter in Username and Password

Once you are logged into the Dashboard, Click on Manage > Processors

Verify that there are two Processors. The second one will have the word 'Portal' with the subscribers name, this is the one that belongs to SalesPoint.

Data needed to create a new user:

  • User Information:
    1. Username: SalesPoint_Subscribers name or initials
    2. Name: Starlight API
    3. Email: Subscribers email, you will need to let subscriber know that we need that email forwarded over, if we are doing this for them.
  • User Role:
    1. Role: Admin
  • User Defaults:
    1. Default Processor: Will be the SalesPoint Processor

Then click on 'Create User'

An email is going to go to the subscriber. We need to get that email and then we need to log in as the SalesPoint User to get the ID.

Once the SalesPoint User is accessed, from the Dashboard screen click on the down arrow in the upper right hand corner. Then click on 'Manage Account'

In the Manage Account screen take a look and make sure that the Default Processor is set to the SalesPoint Processor. Then copy the User ID, we will need this for Starlight.
